Run by the statutory Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), which barred non-Sanatanis from both temples in 2026. The Badrinath Rawal is a Nambudiri, assisted by Dimri Brahmins; the Kedarnath Rawal comes from the Veerashaiva Jangam community.
