Questions
Why is my family's shrine not here?
Most families keep a village shrine, a jathera, a kavu or a household deity that no public list records. Pick the kind of deity that fits, then write the shrine and your village in your Kul Mandala. It stays on your family's record.
Does my gotra or surname decide my kuldevi?
No. Your family's ancestral village and its own tradition decide it, and two families of the same gotra often keep different deities. Lines such as "kept by Rathore families" record history only.
What is a disputed entry?
Some temples and seats have contested control or succession. Vanshmool lists the place once, names every claimant with a dated source, and decides nothing.

The deities themselves, with legend and worship, are on the Kuldevi pages, Matths and peeths, Tirtha purohits and Community sansthas.
