📜Origin Story
Two sages carry this name. Dhaumya Ayoda was the teacher of Uddalaka Aruni, Upamanyu and Veda in the Mahabharata's opening books, famous for the hard tests he set his pupils. Dhaumya, younger brother of Devala, was the family priest (purohita) of the Pandavas, who went with them into the forest exile and performed their rites.
