📜Origin Story
Apastamba is the author of one of the most complete Sutra collections of the Krishna Yajurveda (Taittiriya) tradition: the Apastamba Shrauta, Grihya and Dharma Sutras. His school was centred in South India, and to this day the Apastamba Sutra governs the domestic rites of many Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi Brahmin families, who name it in sankalpa ("Apastamba sutra").
